SPORTS UPDATE TERM 2 – WEEK 3

Great to see so many happy, sweaty, but smiley faces after netball, hockey, basketball and flippaball games. The children played very well in all sporting codes and should be very proud of themselves. We look forward to seeing more excitement, commitment, team spirit and sportsmanship throughout the season.

Most of our teams are playing grading games and the draws are being updated on a weekly basis. Thank you to all the coaches and parents for getting the children to their games and trainings on time.

The first Rippa Rugby tournament for 2019 is next Thursday (23 May) at Windsor Park 9am – 2.30pm. Torbay School will be represented by a large group of 122 children. Parents are welcome to come and support them. If you can help during the day by managing a team (organising the substitution of players and looking after a small group of children) that would be much appreciated. Please let our sports co-ordinator know. Children have their trainings at school during lunch times.
