SPORTS UPDATE TERM 2 – WEEK 1
It’s been a very busy start to Term 2. The netball teams have started training and are putting our brand new netball court to good use. Our Year 6 netball teams played their first games on Wednesday at the Netball North Harbour Centre. Year 2-5 Kidzplay netball teams games begin on the 11th of May at Pinehurst School.
Basketball, Miniball and Little League teams also continue with their training and games right from week 1.
Our wonderful Flippaball teams gained some new players and splash right back into their training and games as well. The draw has now been finalised.
Hockey games were delayed by a week due to an international tournament hosted by Harbour Hockey, however our three hockey teams started their training on Wednesday morning.
Just a reminder that is the very last chance to register for primary schools Rippa Rugby Tournament which is open to children in Years 3-6. This event is spread over three Thursday’s in Term’s 2 and 3, during school hours. The dates for 2019 are: 23 May, 4 July and 29 August.
