I am married to Todd and we have 3 children. We have been part of the Torbay School community since September 2010 when our eldest child joined.
I have a BCom from Otago University, majoring in both Marketing and Management. My commercial background is in the recruitment industry. Working in the UK and Europe, I was a director of a multinational recruitment company, leading and managing many teams.
Currently I am enjoying being at home with my children.
I personally believe in social responsibility, and in the saying “it takes a village to raise a child.” I joined the BOT as my way to contribute to this. I have been on the Board since November 2011, currently standing as deputy Chair.
To me, being on the Board is a privilege. We have a fantastic school with teachers, support staff and a management team who contribute a great deal, much of it behind the scenes, and its a pleasure to help support them. I am enjoying my experience as a Board member and hope to continue building on the success of the school and its community.
